After discovering the amazing difference between fresh roasted coffee and the stale old coffee we were used to drinking, we quickly became frustrated at the lack of fresh roasted coffee in our area. We found ourselves driving an hour and a half to the closest coffee roaster. But, since our first taste, there was no going back. It was just so much better. Grocery store bought coffee just didn't taste good anymore.
So we decided to buy a used Israeli-made coffee roaster and learn the art of roasting coffee, which is not so much different than making popcorn - an art we were well-versed-in having two young children. Now we buy fresh high-quality coffee beans from the best coffee-growing regions, and roast them to order in small batches in our building on Main Street in historic Union, West Virginia.
